Close to the dawn of time a planet was born, that would become known as Menstrath. The world gave birth to a race of Dragons, among the first children of the Universe.
In time, knowledge and power came to them from the spirit world and by watching new life find its way. They decided to watch over the worlds throughout the nearby galaxies to their own. Sometimes they watched from afar, communicating telepathically and through the plane in image and sound. Sometimes they made their presence more known, but it was not always enough. It became clear to them that war always seemed inevitable, like a natural order of things as creation went hand in hand with destruction. All things change from one form to another.
For them, for Warlock, this truth was one that was always too painful to accept. Watching those they protected like their own children, became too hard. Some became disillusioned whilst others kept hope. Eventually these two tribes could not coexist.
How does one guide others to enlightenment, when the truth and lesson is so painful and beyond the student's comprehension? More than a student, but our friends, our family and what one might consider our children?
For the Dragon Lords - the closest beings to living gods, that question still vexes them as much as those on the other side.
For Warlock that nightmare has returned. The Dragon Lord will be tested and pushed to the brink in ways he has never faced before.
Galthrea, and everything the war stood for back home lies in the balance. The Universe is watching.
